Internal Research Lane

Internal notes can mention locations and findings from local research corpora, but must label source/provenance and must not be confused with shippable implementation code.

Use SPECTRE/POLYGON materials as research and context. When a finding informs shipping code, write it as an original requirement or observed behavior, not as copied implementation.

D2 Assets

Full D2 disc images stay outside Git.

Default storage:

• Source media: /mnt/kitchen/MEDIA LIBRARY/GAMES/DREAMCAST
• Raw extracted assets: /mnt/kitchen/collab/d3-tui/asset-staging/raw
• Converted/review assets: /mnt/kitchen/collab/d3-tui/asset-staging/converted

Only commit extracted assets when a coordinator explicitly decides they belong in the repo, Git LFS is installed, and the commit includes a provenance note. Prefer committed manifests and generated preview galleries over full raw dumps.
