Key Insight: Placeholder-Ready Items
Kanban items don’t need to be ultra-defined. It’s enough that it refers to something that needs to get done — even if it’s not the right problem yet, context isn’t there, or shape of process isn’t there.
Continuum model: Items can start thin. Can morph/mutate/evolve in place, or be folded into another item that absorbs it.
Practical Output

- Lock in a month+ of calendar items that deserve it (deadlines, meetings)
- Keep provisional bucket/tank of fluid items
