Unicode/Font Rendering

Status: Open - Needs Investigation

Problem

Many Unicode characters render as blank boxes or don’t appear at all: - Emojis (❤️, 🎉, 🙏, etc.) - Special Unicode punctuation - Some non-ASCII characters

Current Setup

• Font: NotoSansJP-Regular.otf (16MB CJK font)
• Path: /userdata/roms/ports/secret-files/assets/fonts/NotoSansJP-Regular.otf
• Loaded in client.py lines ~270-280
