Duplicate Check

After sorting a batch into the staging tree, run:

/Users/mehdifarah/Downloads/RELiK\ Reef/WORKFLOWS/check-intake-duplicates.sh "/Volumes/T7 Shield/STAGING/RELiK Reef Intake/2026-06-07"

The script compares incoming file SHA-256 hashes against hashes already recorded in TRANSFER_MANIFESTS. For duplicate hits, it prints the hash and the rg lookup needed to find the earlier manifest entry.

Handling Rule

Do not treat a duplicate as safe to delete only because the hash matches. First verify whether the duplicate is a more useful filename, folder context, or source-provenance copy. If it adds no context, keep the already archived Pi4 copy and do not transfer the duplicate again.
