The useful distinction is not canon versus not canon.

Much of this material is canonical because it happened, was used, shaped RELiK, or belongs to a real epoch. The operative distinction should be:

• Current runtime canon
• Foundational canon
• Archivable epoch canon
• Provisional-but-important working material
• Deprecated ancestry
• Sensitive review material

Archive means not currently top-line runtime unless promoted. It does not mean false.
