This band needs a different approach.

Key premise:

• RELiK is a lab, not a studio.
• True clients are not the primary desired structure.
• RELiK itself should be protected from premature equity sale.
• RELiK is the garden.
• Within the garden are co-labs, internal labs, departments, wings, plots, reefs, or related entities that may solicit funding, sell equity, trade ownership, or form operating relationships.

The co-lab model allows:

• Peak project fidelity.
• Operator ownership.
• RELiK to maintain fidelity to its role as garden/monolith.
• Labs to leave if their direction becomes incompatible.
• Funding and equity mechanics to happen without selling RELiK itself.

The monolith does not want to own or enslave anyone. Things dedicated to the monolith simply are; they should not force people to trade off what they care about.
