Zen Shinto, Zen Nautica, And Aquatic Worldview

Zen Shinto and Zen Nautica are real conceptual/design territories.

The monolith first appeared underwater. RELiK exists in an aquatic garden: the octopus’s garden, the reef, the deep sea, the ocean floor, the submerged ruin.

RELiK’s frontier is not outer space first. It is conceptually aquatic and terrestrial: the deep world that is already here.

This connects to the Realverse / anti-metaverse posture:

• Why leave the Earth when the world is already a vibrant garden for possibility, humanity, and experience?
• Why give primacy to virtualized worlds when there is so much latent potential here?
• Technical and virtual tools matter, but they should not be used to circumvent the real world’s potential.

Submerged territory includes:

• The sacred.
• Spiritual practice.
• The arcane.
• Abandoned sense-making processes.
• Belief systems.
• Cultural and individual shadow.
• Ruins under the water.

RELiK is willing to excavate, resurface, repurpose, and build from these materials.
