If you are a new session working in this repo, read these files before adding research:

1. RESEARCH/README.md - global research rules and placement map.
2. RESEARCH/EGG_FUND/README.md - Restless Egg Batch 2 stream rules.
3. RESEARCH/EGG_FUND/sources/source-log.md - existing source IDs and the next ID to use.

Default rule: all new Restless Egg research belongs under RESEARCH/EGG_FUND/ unless the user explicitly creates a different funding stream.
