Maintenance Notes

• This protocol is based on the herms_sdl_client.py architecture running on RG40XXV
• The client must be running for input injection and triggered captures to work
• SMB access is provided by Batocera.linux’s Samba server (no auth)
• All paths are under the share SMB share which maps to Batocera user data
• The userdata directory is the root of the SD card’s user partition
