Prohibited Paths

Do not restore or prioritize:

• raw IP.BIN + 1ST_READ.BIN concatenation;
• CDI-first workflows;
• MIL-CD exploit booting;
• physical Dreamcast burn assumptions;
• low-memory host-style ELF linking.

Legacy scripts that existed for those paths are historical evidence only and live under legacy/invalid-image-tools/.

If Validation Is Blocked

Keep working. Review code, improve tests, clean stale docs, refine extraction tooling, update Forgejo issues, and remove contradictions. Do not declare completion solely because RG40XXV/FlycastVL validation is unavailable.
