D3-TUI FlycastVL Pipeline

Status: realigned on 2026-05-10.

Current Rule

The authoritative runtime target is RG40XXV/Knulli FlycastVL using the D2 Disc 1 title-menu visual target documented in docs/D2_TITLE_MENU_TARGET.md.

Use direct KOS ELF only as a fast emulator validation artifact when supported. If the RG40XXV/FlycastVL path requires a disc image, prefer GDI/CHD packaging. Do not make CDI or MIL-CD exploit booting part of this effort.

Current build entry points:

make flycast-image

The prior NLOGO.PVM W/A/R/P plus 0GDTEX.PVR proof was a decoder and KOS/Flycast smoke test. It is not the final visual target and must not be treated as acceptance.
