Artifacts in TANK follow the current lifecycle protocol unless explicitly out of scope:

PILLARS/SPIRIT/protocols/lifecycle/CURRENT.md

Entity classes are permanent. Graduation is additive through new linked entities; the original SPARK, SEED, SPROUT, or POD remains what it was.
