Rules
- One source of truth. PILLARS is the only live
tree.
- Version inside. Use frontmatter, archive subdirs,
and README status sections to mark state — not directory location.
- Snapshot to LITHS. When a version changes
meaningfully, snapshot the full PILLARS tree into
TANK/LITHS/<timestamp>/.
- Never delete. Graduate forward with links. Archive,
don’t erase.
