Purpose

Capture research on repurposing MJF’s Ledger Nano X beyond crypto custody: as a physical key for hardware, services, and data in the RELiK/FROM House stack, and scope the characteristics of a custom feature set if the house warrants one.

Do not treat this as permission to implement. Treat it as research and scope capture until MJF explicitly promotes it.

Premise

Under the crypto branding, the Nano X is a general-purpose secure element (ST33) with a display, two physical confirm buttons, USB + BLE transports, and a 24-word seed from which any installed app derives keys. Wallet apps are just one client of that hardware. The device can therefore serve as a house root-of-trust whose keys never leave the secure element and whose approvals require physical presence.
