Why: The Problem
Chat apps are conversational. A user who sends a message or receives a reply should see it appear without manually restarting the app. Currently, the user must: 1. Press Start+Select to open the system menu 2. Exit to EmulationStation 3. Re-enter AQUAPING from Ports 4. Navigate back to the chat
This breaks flow, discourages use, and makes the app feel broken compared to any modern messaging client.
Who: The User
A person using a handheld console to send/receive iMessages. They may be: - Scrolling through message history (preserving scroll position is critical) - Typing a reply (OSK open — don’t interrupt) - At the bottom of the chat waiting for a reply (auto-scroll to new messages) - Idling with the app open (messages should still appear)
